Custom Wedding Menus

B + S had a lovely outdoor wedding at the beautiful Rushmore Estate in Highland Mills, NY in the fall of 2022. B + S vision of their wedding was to bring a perfect blend of their cultural backgrounds together. B grew up in upstate New York and S is from India. Decorations were not the only way that the couple wanted to combine the two cultures, but also through the food that was served.

To bring in some of the flavors of India, during cocktail hour we passed a curried chicken salad, served on a papadum with fresh green apple and candied fennel. Another canape was a tandoori chicken skewer, featuring chicken marinated in yogurt and spices.  To tie in the flavors of NY, we put together a Taste of the Farm grazing table. This was a display of local, farm fresh vegetables with crackers, dips and accoutrement. We ended the night with a lemon lavender cake and cardamon mango panna cottas.
